Got the laptop sorted now.Installed Nero 7.
Just a few minor apps to consider reloading.
Keep doing a hard disk image in case I want to go back a step.
Once again, its raining (Oh what a surprise)
At least its not freezing.
Outside temperature, according to Mr Watson 3.5°C Centigrade
